Hadrami music
The Yemeni Hadrami Orchestra is composed of 76 musicians, 13 of which are traditional musicians from Hadramout, led by Mr. Mohammed Al Ghoom, the main composer and a proud Hadrami himself. The orchestra is divided into 6 musical pieces inspired by the Hadrami music and mixed with the orchestra music as a symbol of a harmonic combination of the local Hadrami culture with other international cultures. Furthermore, each piece is accompanied by a traditional Hadrami dance performed by a group of 4 to 10 men wearing the traditional costumes of Hadramout.

This book is the first to uncover the remaining 30 centuries-old of traditional motifs and visual arts found in artifacts, buildings, and in the daily activities of the locals that represent the rich cultural identity of the Hadramis —the people of Hadramout. This book features artifacts and traditions kept within the community for a long time due to their cultural sensitivity, especially the female body decoration. Now, for the first time, they will be shared with the public.
